  • My Scariest Nightmare - The Uninvited Contest

I just blogged about my scariest nightmare to enter The Uninvited Scariest Nightmare Contest for 1,000 credits. You can earn free credits too! Brought to you by The Uninvited - In Theaters January 30th.

The scariest dream I had ever had was just a little over a week ago. It was so realistic.

Basically I was at home doing what I usually do: computer, eat, television, homework, nap, etc. I was sitting at my computer when all of a sudden my power goes out. It's pitch black outside and all the street lamps outside are out as well. It's pitch black everywhere, and I cannot see anything whatsoever. Nobody else is home with me, but I hear the upstairs floor creaking. (In reality it creaks so loud when someone is walking around up there) I start panicking because I know for a fact nobody else is home and the floor couldn't creak that loud without anybody being up there. I'm downstairs and I go into my bathroom, shut the door and lock it. I don't know exactly where I am in the bathroom, but I make my way to the shower but I bump into something. I don't remember what it was, but it wasn't really important anyways. I run out of the bathroom frightened but can't get out. There is no longer a door knob, or a door, i'm just in pitch black box with no way to get out. All of a sudden an explosion echoes through the box and my body fills with pain. The black box I'm trapped in cracked open and I crawled out. I run to the back of my house where the garage is, but I'm shook with pain as an explosion roars again. Bombs were going off outside my house and I had no way out. I tried standing up but a black figure pulled me down and covered my eyes, my nose, and my mouth. I couldn't breath and I couldn't struggle any longer. I just gave up, and died....

Then I woke up. It was so realistic though because I don't recall falling asleep, but I did.
  • "Stop copying me!!"

I have a slight dilemma. One of my best friends is copying me...I don't know if she's aware of this yet. I used to think that we just had similar beliefs, likings, and thought alike but now I'm beginning to think otherwise. Can you tell me if I'm just overreacting!?

10 things that she has "copied":
    1. When I first met her, her favorite color was green. Once I told her my favorite color was Turquoise, now her favorite color is turquoise!
    2. When I first met her she would part her hair down the middle without any bangs, and I had side bangs....then she got side bangs.
    3. I arranged my room a certain way, put lots of pictures on my walls, hung decorations up, put up my own artwork, and now after seeing my room she has done the same exact arrangement and similar decor.
    4. I've been infatuated with Japanese culture, food, and language and now all of a sudden she wants to go to Japan, get a Kanji tattoo(like me!), and learn how to speak Japanese.
    5. I always wore uggs, rainbows, and skinny jeans whilst her style was almost opposite of mine, and now she wears all three and more types of clothing I wear.
    6. I wanted a lip ring (labret), and I told her. Then the next week she said "I asked my mom if I could get my lip peirced and she's taking me this weekend!"
    7. I wear nothing but MAC makeup, and she used generic brands from rite aid, and cvs and what not, and now she uses nothing but MAC as well.
    8. I got my belly button pierced so she peirced hers herself...
    9. I love Hello Kitty and have for years, and once she saw that I liked Hello Kitty she started buying Hello Kitty brand things.
    10. I became a vegetarian and was one for over two years before I met her, and when we became really good friends she decided to be one too.

There's a huge difference between having a lot in common, and copying. Do you think she's copying me, or we just have a lot in common? I know friends rub off on each other but I'm trying to be my own person and somewhat original, but I feel as if I can't do that because if I come up with anything original she snatches my idea. What should I do? Any advice... =/
